We spent some r & w (rest & work) time last week at The Little Blue House.

Got the water turned on, sprinklers going, enjoying the beautiful weather,

totally enjoying being 'unplugged.'

Mom Time!

I was delighted to photograph this mom of 3 last night!

She wanted some pics of her, for her children, as she is usually the ones taking

the pictures.  I think that happens with most of us.

This mom is a single mom and is one very busy lady!

I'm looking forward to our 'Family Session' this coming weekend!



Little Miss Sunshine....

I met up with Little Miss Sunshine about 2 weeks ago for a mini-session. She was extremely comfortable in front of the camera.... actually directing me! She is such a bright and sweet young lady!



CC Heritage Museum

I had the pleasure of spending some time with this amazing family at the

CC Heritage Museum!  It's a fantastic place to take photographs, lots of history, lots of texture, lots of cool things!

It was the first really hot day of the season!



Favorites From My Past

My latest sessions have requested that their photos not be posted on the internet for personal reasons. I absolutely honor their decision, but am just bursting to post some pix!
Here are some of my favs, taken during August 2010.  The first set are from the U.S. Naval Academy, Parent'-Plebe Weekend and the second are from a wonderful camping trip up in the high desert.

As I was waiting to be reunited with my sailor, I took photos of other families being reunited with theirs!

I have several shots of this mom and her Plebe, this one is my favorite.

I see the relief in her eyes, the pure joy of holding her child in her arms again, the silent

thank you to God for keeping him safe.

I know, because these were the same emotions I felt when I got my arms around my boy.

Anthem

Last week I met up with the S. family at a local park. Their oldest, Mr. G, was heading off to join the Air Force this week, and they wanted some family photos before his departure.  The Air Force will only be better because of Mr. G, his head is on straight!  

We also took some senior shots of L'il Sis....!
